Much of our team has worked here for years, and we are all experienced in the dental procedures at Advanced Dental Associates of Tampa Palms. Our dental team members are friendly and pleasant, and we strive to help our patients feel comfortable in every way as we treat them. Some of our team members are bilingual in Spanish and Italian for any language barriers you may be worried about. Eva,
Office Manager
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Eva brings 20 years of experience in the dental field, including 10 years with Advanced Dental Associates. As Office Manager, she is dedicated to creating a welcoming and positive experience for every patient. She enjoys helping patients navigate their treatment plans, scheduling, insurance, and financing, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their dental journey.
Outside of the office, Eva is a proud mom of two daughters and a son. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking nature walks, relaxing at the beach, reading, and volunteering at church. Her warm, caring personality and passion for helping others are at the heart of everything she does.
Joey,
Front Desk
Joey is a Tampa, Florida native and has worked in the dental field for seven years. He joined Advanced Dental Associates in February 2026 and is part of the front desk team, where he enjoys getting to know patients and helping make their visits as comfortable and positive as possible. Joey attended Liberty University and comes from a close-knit family. He is a proud father of two children and also has two Yorkies, Meeko and Minnie. Outside of the office, Joey has a passion for music and has served as the Media Director at his church for more than four years. He enjoys spending time outdoors, making memories at Disney with his kids, and has had the unique opportunity to visit the White House five times for various events.
Joy,
Registered Dental Assistant
Joy is a native to Brooklyn, New York, and has called Tampa Bay her home for the past 35 years. She works closely with our doctors and has been a team member for over 25 years. She assists special needs patients and helps maintain patients’ composure throughout their procedure. Joy and her husband, Doug, are raising two beautiful and smart teenage girls, Candace and Ava. When she is not at our office, Joy likes to work on the animal ranch, travel and learn about new cultures.
April,
Registered Dental Assistant
April is a Florida native and earned her dental assistant diploma in 2001. She is knowledgeable about monitoring conscious sedation and nitrous oxide and is certified in phlebotomy. Since joining our team in 2014, she loves providing quality dental care and is always finding room for improvement in her work. April enjoys spending quality time with her family and traveling to new places.
Massiel, Dental Hygienist & Sleep Coordinator
Massiel is a dedicated hygienist and Sleep Coordinator at Advanced Dental Associates of Tampa Palms, with more than 11 years of experience in dentistry. After earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in the Dominican Republic, she developed a passion for helping patients understand the connection between oral health, breathing, sleep, and overall wellness. Outside the office, Massiel enjoys traveling, staying active, exploring new restaurants, spending time with her husband, and preparing to welcome their first baby.
Julissa,
Registered Dental Hygienist
Julissa is originally from Puerto Rico. Raised in a military family, she lived in many places before settling in Florida in 2004. She started her dental career in 2006 as a pediatric dental assistant. She loved the dental field and furthered her education to become a hygienist. She graduated in 2011 with her degree in dental hygiene. The part of her job she loves most is transforming her patients smiles, and educating them on proper oral care. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
Robert,
Registered Dental Hygienist
Robert is originally from Albany, Georgia, and brings 40 years of experience in the dental field to Advanced Dental Associates. He began his career as a dental assistant in the U.S. Navy, where he served for five years, before attending the ASU School of Dental Hygiene and going on to spend more than three decades in private practice. Robert enjoys helping patients by sharing his dental knowledge and making each person feel comfortable and cared for. He is married and has a son who is a practicing dentist and a teenage daughter who enjoys playing piano and acoustic guitar. Outside of the office, Robert enjoys spending time at the beach, visiting Florida’s natural springs, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Florida State Seminoles. He is also known for never meeting a stranger.
